Bug Hotels – 10.30
This hands‑on session invites children to explore the outdoors and learn about the tiny creatures living all around us. We’ll collect natural materials and use them to build cosy bug hotels, creating safe spaces for insects to shelter and thrive.
Children will discover what different mini‑beasts like, how to make a welcoming habitat, and why bugs are so important for our environment. It’s a gentle, creative activity that encourages curiosity, outdoor play, and a love of nature.
Nature Treasure Plaques – 13.00
In this creative outdoor session, children will gather natural treasures — leaves, petals, twigs, seeds and more — and use them to design their own nature treasure plaque to take home.
We’ll explore the area, collect materials mindfully, and arrange them into beautiful patterns before setting them into a plaque. It’s a calming, sensory activity that helps children connect with the outdoors and notice the small details in nature.
All materials are provided, and our picnic area is available if you’d like to stay and enjoy the surroundings before or after your session.
